    Question:
I just purchased a PLN3516F. I used it the other day and was pleased on how it ran and worked. One thing is that I'm having trouble tensioning the chain. I've done everything that the manual says to due but I can't turn the nobs. Is there something that I'm not doing? I push the Chain Brake away from me.

    Thanks for your help

    Thank you for contacting AnswerARMY.

When adjusting the chain tension ensure the unit is disconnected from power. Pull the chain brake handle rear ward, once the chain brake is disengaged using a heavy glove loosen the retainer for the chain brake about 3/4 - 1 round. Adjust the chain tension, once the chain is tight hold upward pressure on the bar and tighten the retainer.

If you have any further issues please contact your local authorized service center, they should be able to show you how to perform the adjustment.
