    Question:
I have a 125B handheld blower that is about 8 years old. It has been a great blower up until recently. I was getting vibration and I noticed oil on the bottom. I bought a fan blade, a cruise control leaver, fuel filter, seal kit and a lower bearing cap. I reassembled it with fresh fuel, new spark plug and air filter. It would not start. I used a spark tester and decided to change the coil. I made sure the flywheel key was aligned and the air gap was .010. It would not start, even with ether. I checked the compression to find 65 psi. After disassembly I checked the ring and found it missing a section. The bore looks clean, but I didn't measure it. I also checked the muffler and it is clear of blockage. With a new ring I am getting 100 psi. Still no starting, even with ether. What am I missing? (Fuel+Fire+Compression = Boom)

Miss a couple in the equation. Oxygen and timing of spark

Verify that the ignition timing is correct. IE flywheel magnets align with coil when piston is at TDC. Also check that crankcase is sealed including that the crank seal are good. Pressure/Vac test the crankcase. Without positive crankcase pressure the burnt fuel will not exit the engine therefore no oxygen for combustion.
