    Question:
I just purchased (online thru Home Depot) a Weedeater electric string trimmer - Twist 'n' Edge. Small amount of assembly required. I put it together, used it and found the entire head case moved when in use in the edger position. Took the trimmer to Home Depot to be sure I had not misassembled it. All was fine. No real answer to problem. Shaft is assembled and attached correctly. HD personnel said the problem was because of the trimmer's ability to switch head positions. I had worn out my very similar Black & Decker product and believed I was purchasing a good replacement with the Weedeater. I am not pleased with the Weedeater. Additionally, using the edge guide cuts a huge ditch rather than a narrow edge between grass & sidewalk. Other than lifting the weedeater and running the edge guide on top of the concrete, do you have a remedy for this problem, also?

    Hi, Margie

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

Unfortunately no there is not a fix for this problem, if you have very much edging to do you may want to look into a purpose built edger. It would satisfy your needs better.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team.
