    Question:
    Hello-
I have a Poulan 22" hedge trimmer. It is about 15 years old. It had the carb rebuilt because it quit running. It was running again, but crapped out again. I took it back to the guy who worked on it and he found foreign material in the carb jet, removed it and it ran again, then crapped out again. Do I need to replace the fuel lines, clean out the system because the fuel system seems to be contaminated and is plugging up the carb jet??

    Thank you,
    Randy Coursey

Yes as a rule if the carburetor needs to be rebuilt so likely is the fuel line damaged and the fuel filter. so yes I would suggest replacing the filter and the line any time the carburetor needs to be rebuilt and actually more often this will help keep the carb from failing.
