      Billy,

That would do it, a loose carburetor will allow air to be pulled into the engine from not being sealed, and If all the air is Not going through the carburator, then the engine won't start.

You will need to remove the carburator, Inspect and clean the gasket underneath the carburetor, make sure the gasket is not torn. Then replace the gasket and carburetor and tighten up the bolts so that you get a good air seal. That should fix your problem, of course the other question is what loosened up the carburator in the first place, and how do you fix it.

While the carburator is off the saw, check the bolts are the correct ones for your saw by comparing to an IPL drawing, (thread length and thread gauge, note some engines and carburetors use metric threads too), so make sure they are the correct ones. It is possible If its a new saw that they were never tightened up correctly in the first place and always have been loose, or they loosened themselves up due to too much chainsaw vibration, which I have seen that happen too.

You will first have to get the saw running, but then don't forget to check the saws vibration, and/or run the saw for a while and then see If the bolts are starting to loosen up again. Another possibility If its an older chainsaw and not under warranty would be to put a small amount of blue thread loctite on the threads, the key is a small amount on the carburator threads, you don't want that stuff getting inside your carburator so be careful its only on the threads. If its still under warranty I would definitely recommend taking it to an Authorized Husqvarna repair center, and let them do the work, because it may be alot more work then just tightening the bolts, If you find out you have a vibration problem too!

Just my opinion, and I hope this helps!
