    About 2 years ago we purchased a 150BT backpack blower and was very happy with the quality and performance of the blower. This year,we purchased a second 150BT blower and was surprised to discover the changes in quality. The on/off switch is easily switched unexpectedly, the length of the hose assembly is shorter, and most disappointing, the cheapness of the hose assembly. It is made of thinner plastic than the first unit we purchased and the hand control is poorly designed.

    Thanks for contacting Husqvarna. I am sorry to hear you are un happy with the product.

    The tube was shortened and made thinner for immovability and weight. The switch is located where it

    is and is easier to move in case there is an emergency and the machine needs to be shut down quickly .
