Walk Behind Lawn Mowers

I just bought an HU700H mower about 6 weeks ago. The first 2 times I used it I would squeeze the drive control and it would move forward without a problem and when I would release it I could pull the mower backward and it would come back freely. Now when I do this one or the other wheel locks up and will not release. What should I do here?
