Question:
My chainsaw has a 2 year warranty. It has been used one time (still very clean looking and obviously barely used). On the second time I tried to use it, the choke lever would not work. Also, the gas cap would not go back on correctly. I took it to my service center and they submitted it for warranty (as it clearly is a manufacturers defect when it only worked correctly one time). They told me that the corporate office said this was not a manufacturer defect and they would only cover the gas cap. I want to know how corporate can make that decision without ever looking at the chainsaw. The service center believes it was a defect.
