String Trimmers

I just purchased a 223L trimmer and the throttle trigger assembly is broken. The part where the throttle cable attaches is cracked right down the middle and therefore have zero throttle capabilities. I'm a huge fan of Husqvarna equipment and don't want to go with another trimmer but I'm very skeptical of just getting a replacement part because it is going to have the same problem...very shoddy plastic on a high stress wear part. I'm wondering if there is a better solution for this other than stockpiling replacement parts for it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. The part number I'm referring to is (503 91 81-01). Thanks!
