    why is the top 3 deck height settings the only ones I can...escalated

    Question:
    why is the top 3 deck height settings the only ones I can use before the deck is touching the ground. With the deck in the full raised position, the tip of blades measure 3 inches off ground.

      I am having the same problem.  I just bought a YTH24V54 and with my deck height set at 2, it mows the grass at about 3/4" to 1", but the deck and wheels are dragging on the ground, and it is impossible to go over any hill or bump at this setting.  I have to constantly pull the deck up to go over small hills.  Is there a way to lower the blades in the deck?
