    Question:
I bought a 4218 chainsaw and after finishing a cut and letting out of the throttle to an idle it will die. This happened about 5-6 times in the first hour and a half that I used the saw. I assume the idle on the carburetor needs to be set higher, but I couldn't find any relative instructions in the owner's manual. How can I fix this problem?

    Richard,

Thanks for contacting Husqvarna to post your question.

It sounds like the unit would need to be taken to an authorized service center to have the carburetor adjusted. Unfortunately due to the EPA and the Federal Government we can not offer any instructions to adjust the saw.

    Thanks again.

You can buy the carburetor adjustment tools yourself.

Amazon and other e-commerce site offer those tools.

I've ordered one set from this link:

      https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079L4PKWQ

      They've got 10 different tools!
