Question:

What is the filing angle for the combination roller filing guides:

505 24 35 01 (3/8), 505 69 81-08 (.325 pixel) and 505 69 81 09 (.325)

Thank you for contacting the Answer Army.

Depending on the type of saw chain being used, the top plate filing angle could be 25°, 30° or 35°.

When using the Husqvarna combination file guides, place the file guide on the chain with the arrow pointing towards the bar nuts.

Place the file at a right angle to the rollers. This gives you the correct filing angle.
