Question:
have a t540xp very dissatisfied with the saw will not idle have taken back to dealer D & D Enterprises Salem IN and as a general rule they will satisfy all my needs but this saw from day 1 has had a idle problem dealer has spent too much time on this saw and still cannot make it right serial# on saw is 2013-4500630 need help on this saw Lightning Tree Service LLC Corydon,IN wont tell you I wont buy Husqvarna products have a 372XP 395XP 570BTS these products I have had 0 issues but as far as T540XP it is a boat anchor only use 110 octane gas at a 40:1 mix please advise thanks Mike Vogt
Answer
Do you if the shop has made sure the metering lever in the carburetor is set at the correct height. If set too low then saw will not idle due fuel starvation. Btw the saw should work fine on 89 octane fuel with a 50:1 fuel mix.

Personally I can't contact them as I am not a dealer or with Husqvarna just an independent shop owner that helps out here. You need to contact Husqvarna themselves as this is just a public forum and Husqvarna seldom ever chime in on.
You try calling them at 1-800-487-5753 but I don't know if the number is still good or not.
