TS 348D clear cut deck leaving "Mohawk" in grass.
Details:
Just purchased TS 348D with the clear cut deck and when cutting the grass it has been leaving a strip of grass uncut about center of the deck. I'm not mowing fast, and the blades are new. Only 7 hrs on mower. Any tips on getting this to mow with an even cut?

Is about the width of the center front roller of the deck? If so then the grass is being flatten before the mower can cut it. Actually these roller should not be touching except to prevent a scraping of the of the ground on uneven ground.
Some types of grass will not stand back quickly enough to be cut by blades. It is like here where the left wheel of mowers cutting my grass when it is taller than it should be leaving taller grass the width of the wheel. For this have found that a clockwise mowing pattern get most it.

Yes, when it leaves the uncut grass it is about that wide. But I mow my lawn at 4" which is the highest the deck goes. The wheels are not touching the ground. So, I'm not sure on how to prevent this.
