    Question:
I have a walk behind Husqvarna trimmer/mower. 2 years old now. Absolutely love it but will say I've gone through several replacement mower balls and they aren't the easiest to change out. My bigger issue it that recently the power has gone down hill. New spark plug, new air filter, fuel injection cleaner/boost....no luck. plz help. Thanks!

I have a commercial client that uses these. I change balls assemblies and not just the ball due to bearing nearing end it life too. They are not that hard to change other than cleaning the dirt around the retaining bolt. I keep at least one ball assembly in stock just for this client.

As for the power it is possible that engine is loosing compression. My client had let the air filter get so caked with mud that engine started sucking dirt around it and this dirt destroyed the cylinder wall. Your engine should have a leak-down test done to determine its cylinder, piston, and rings condition. Also these L-heads do tend close up valves clearances and itmay simply need the valves redone.

There is one problem that I am currently dealing with on HU625HWT and that is the spindle shaft is too loose new and is wearing out prematurely. My current solution here is to have the shaft knurled at the bearing journals.

Eugene, thank you so much for your input. Curious if you would mind sharing your location? The local servicing option for getting the trimmer evaluated is no longer servicing Husqvarna. UGH!

I am a small independent shop that doesn't do warranty other my own shop warranty on repairs; just haven't grown enough to the volume demands of most manufactures; although, it does look like I might be able to get in with Briggs next year.

As for my location it is Elora, TN.

Matthew, can you please help me with reassembly - Here is my post on the HU625HWT. I guess I put it in the wrong area - I wasn't sure what its classification was.
