    Question:
I have an old (probably around 2005) Husqvarna 61" commercial zero turn.
I have issues with the safety switches or maybe relays or wiring in general, and want to bypass them.
I have 3 (not counting the seat, which is easy). One on the parking brake and one on each steering arm.
I know the mower needs a new wiring harness, but that's not going to happen as they want entirely too much for them.
So, I want to bypass the switches to the control arms. How do I do it? If it was a simple 2 wire switch, I could comprehend it. But these have 4 wires. can anyone help?

BTW, for the record, I am a 53 year old man with enough common sense to not mow on a hill steep enough to turn over on or get off and leave blades running, etc etc etc.

Post the model number and the product number if readable and I see if the parts or owners manual has the wiring diagram in one of them and provide you that so you see what involved in the repair of your system as you can run new wires to just replace for the bad ones or replace the bad switches.

As for any us to tell how to disable these safety switches; legally we can't as we would be liable for your or other injuries. These safety systems in place for your and others safety and personally I am firm believer in these safety systems as I have seen where an operator's inattention has cost them toes, fingers and one person even loss part one foot in my area.

      ZTH 6125KOA
      Product #968999187
      Serial #030900487

The control arm switches are a booger to get to, to take off. One of them already has got a jumper to the other. It could be a relay problem, too. Sometimes it starts with no problem and sometimes it doesn't get fire. If i play with it, sometimes it will work, and others it just flips me off, I reckon, and that's that

The thing about fixing it 'correctly': the mower isn't worth what it would cost to take it to a repair facility, assuming I could even find one that's trustworthy.

The Husqvarna Authorized Service Center closest to me are crooks who told me it needed an engine when the problem was muffler blockage.

The other repair shops are not any better.

      So, you see my dilemma.

Joey here is the link the owners manual that has the wiring info. Look on pages 20 and 22 along with the rest of the wiring diagrams. The main relays to check is the Run and Brake for contact problems both have ignition kill circuits. Hope this help you to get it fixed. You will need a good voltmeter to do the testing.

As for the shop I can see your problem there. It is hard to find a confident shop. My advice is if you ever find one stick with them. Here I get work in the has been larger shops like JD and some of largest competitors where they couldn't even fix a simple problem.
