Question:

I have a Husqvarna YTH20F42T since 2006. Is there any way to re-enforce the mower deck housing for wear. I have replaced the deck housing three times since I purchased the unit. Please see the attached photo.

Yes by welding in place an extra patch after patching the current hole that covers the affected area. Basically your double the thickness in that area. Still will wear out just takes longer.

Another after the hole is patch is to make a replaceable piece that that is bolted in place for easy removal and replacement.
