Walk Behind Lawn Mowers

I bought a LC 221A walk behind mower on 6/11/2016, so this product is well within the 3-year warranty period. Yesterday I pulled the starter cord then it didn't return to the original position. I found that the starter recoil spring is broken. I wonder if this broken spring during normal use is covered under product warranty? Thank you!
