I bought two husqvarna chainsaws second hand and cannot find a model number. There is a little plaque that says "Husqvarna Sweden" then under it is a serial number. One is 832163 the other 650015(1). I cannot tell if the last one is a number or a scratch. They have a blade length of 20". Any idea how to find a model from that info?
Jonathan,
First off congratulations those are some really cool old saws!!! Unfortunately there are no means to identify the model of either of these units by the information provided. That being said, in all likelihood the top saw is a 77 and the bottom is a 65L, this has been determined strictly by the visual appearance of the units. You might want to take those into a Husqvarna dealer for further clarification. You can find your local dealer here.
