    Question:
Why are 372 X-torq chainsaws so hard to start? I used many of the old style 372's and they were never hard to start. These saws have a problem that needs to be corrected. I am a timber cutter and depend on a good saw. I hate to have to stop using Husqvarna and go to a different brand of saw, but if I cannot depend on the saws that is what I will do.

use a Velcro strap to hold the trigger WOT.  this practice assures the excessive fuel evacuates the combustion chamber.  many saws of all manufacturers require this same treatment.

with the choke on pull no more than 3 trys.  leave the CRV closed and strap your trigger down.  you will have success.
