Tractors

I recently bought a leftover husqvarna yta19k42 tractor.
You can set the speed controlput it creeps up to max speed and I have to use the brake to control the speed. I see the new ones have a cruise control but this doesn't Does anyone knopw of an adjustment I can make so the speed control handle doesn't creep up?
