It is upsetting that you have experienced this issue. The pivot points can be lubricated using dry lubricant such as graphite.
I would suggest that if the squeak is not easily resolved with some dry graphite, to contact your local authorized service center to have the squeak investigated and resolved.

I just bought a YT46LS and it has exactly the same problem - right from the start. I just used it for the first time yesterday and, while I'm happy with the mower (and it did a great job bagging, which was one thing I was worried about) there is a persistent squeak I can easily hear over the engine noise that only occurs when I turn on the deck. I figured it needed some kind of lubrication - but while I saw a small line-drawing diagram of Zerk fittings for the whole mower on page 15 of the manual, there were no further instructions on how to find these. Furthermore none of the pictures of the deck show zerks ANYWHER and I searched the mower parts manual pdf for "zerk" and "zirc" and found 0 hits. So I have the following quesitons:
1) How do I find instrucitons on how to find and lubriciate ANY of the zerks shown on the line drawing on page 15?
2) If I'm not supposed to use grease on the deck, why does the drawing show zerks for the deck mandrels?
3) What and how do I lubricate with the dry graphite mentoned in the previous post?
