Question:
I have a brand new 240 chainsaw. I never thought it would fail right out of the box! I take it that it is Husqvarna's policy to sell equipment that immediately needs to be serviced before it's first use.
I feel like I have been HAD and am not very happy!
I have carefully read all of the instructions that came with the saw.
I purchased Husqvarna premixed fuel and Husqvarna chain and bar oil for it. And I filled both tanks.
It started the first time, but I was not ready to use the saw at the time. The next day, I tried to use the saw.
There are 2 issues with this saw:
1. It would not idle when it did start.
The next day (today) I tried to use the saw, I was able to make 3 cuts with it. But, I had to restart it before each cut as it will not idle.
2. After my 3rd cut (the last cut I was able to make), it would not restart at all! I let the saw sit and tried it again and again. I did this a number of times. It will not start!
I am a Very Dissatisfied with the product and will not by another piece of Husqvarna equipment ever again! I wish that I had not bought this one.......................
I am surprised by Husqvarna's lack of quality and selling faulty products!
I Need HELP. What do I do?
