    Question:
I bought a Poulon Pro 4218AVX chainsaw a couple weeks ago and it has taken to bogging down when I apply throttle or if I tilt the chainsaw. It stalls frequently and I have to pump-action the gas to try to keep it going sometimes.

I've been keeping it well lubricated with bar oil and have the 40:1 gas:oil mixture right.

What could be causing the chainsaw to act in this way?

    Hi Larry

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

It sounds like the carb is out of adjustment. Not getting enough fuel when you give it the throttle. You will need to let an authorized dealer adjust it for you. Go to www.poulanpro.com to find a dealer near you.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team
