I have a YTH24V42LS. This is the tractor mower that has the 42" 3 Blade Deck. Bought new in 2012. The mower deck does not throw the grass clippings. Have to stop frequently to clean deck, especially bad if grass is damp (not wet) but damp! Any one else have this problem? Any solutions?
Answer
Damp or wet grass is heavier and requires more lift power to keep it aloft so it can be discharged. The mower probably came with standard blades and I would suggest upgrading the high lift blades PN 577146101 which should increase the discharge rate from the deck,
