Question:
i just purchased a P1500 trimmer. Is it normal for the spool head to turn so fast when in idle? Also it seems that when the throttle trigger is depressed all the way, the trimmer will slowly die and shut down. Is this also normal?

The P1500 does not use a clutch so the head does spin all the time the engine is running.
o it is not normal for the unit to die, please take to your local dealer and explain what is happening to them, the local authorized service center should be able to determine the reason for the unit to stall.
