    Question:
I live in Houston and with the recent flooding my chainsaw went completely under water for a few days. Any tips on how to recover it? I'm planning on changing the fluids but didn't know if there were any other steps I should take. It's a husqvarna 440

Needs to be as soon as possible started and ran for 15 min or longer to dry out any and all water inside the engine or bearings and ring damage can occur. Also make the clutch assy and drum bearing dried as well with the bearing being re-greased. Plus starter taken apart cleaned and lubed. General anything that water could gotten into needs cleaning and drying.

Karla may have some other things that you should check and do.
