Walk Behind Lawn Mowers

Hi, I purchased a walk behind mover model HU725AWD from lowes a week ago. The box says 3 year warranty, the manual inside the box says 3 year warranty but when I got my product registration email today it says 2 year warranty. The product registration confirmation is number 160215-000667. This is being used in a non-commercial, non-rental use case, typical home owner lawn mower use.

I expect the 3 year warranty, why is the product registration info showing just a 2 year warranty?
