    2 years and 2 day ago I purchased my Husqvarna Model 235 (sn 2011 3400996) after having cut firewood for 30+ years having used Pioneer, Poulan, Skil, etc. saws. So in my retirement I decided to get an "Husqvarna" for my tree maintenance around the house and limited firewood collection. Having always had the highest regards for the brand I did not expect a failure in the saw, such as, the brass anchor nuts pulling out of the main frame (plastic) holding the upper shroud above the controls. The attachment bolts involved having never been touched. The saw has never been dropped, and the only explaination I could come up with is shotty quality in its design or manufacture. Hence my effort to give you folks some in the field feedback and perhaps get some understanding with the warrentee timing.

      slap a little Loctite on those brass Oscars, tap em back in with a little bitty hammer and problem solved, eh louie?  warranty or not, that is extremely minor within the realm of all that could fail.  continue to put the saw to bed completely dry of fluids, (gas&oil),  keep the bar track & oiler holes clean along with the clutch/chain brake area,  and that little gem should serve for light duty a good long while.

      come on back to visit us when a real complicated issue prevents that saw from cutting.  we will be glad to help sir...

      if the brass thread inserts are sloppy loose, then use JB Weld being careful not to get it into the threaded throat when tapping back flush...
