I have a Husqvarna YTH20K46 with a broken drive belt. The diagram under the hood lists the ground drive belt as 532 12 59-07x. However, all of the parts diagrams for this model number list the number as 532130969.
I am trying to figure out which one is the correct one as it looks like the two are different lengths by about 2 inches (90 vs 92).
I also would like to know if there is a way for me to check the oil level in the transaxle or if I even should. I have read that they are sealed from the factory, but the tractor is about 5 years old.
Thanks,
Allen
Answer
Please post model and product numbers from your serial number decal. There have been two different v-belt used over the series.
The mowers that used the Hydro Gear T2 used the 532125907 (1/2 x 90-1/4) belt and the one that used the Tuff Torq K46 BT used the 532130969 (1/2 x 92-1/2) belt.
And to answer about the checking of transmission oil yes they are sealed units; no operator fill points.

Thank you for the reply.
My product information is as follows:
Model YTH 20k46
Product 96045004
Maintenance level 05
Serial 092408A017764
I have the tractor up on jacks and the left side rear wheel off. I can see that side of the transaxle if I need to find identifiers on that as well. Did not realize there were two runs of transaxles. Determined that mine broke because the brake was stuck engaged. Got it freed up, but is there anything I need to do to lubricate or prevent it again?
It broke after I took the parking brake off and tried to drive forward.
Thanks again,
Allen

Product number 96045000405 IPL says it came with the 532125907 v-belt, And your transmission turned out to be a Hydro Gear T2.
I had to look-up that braking system. It turns out to be very much like the Tecumseh Peerless and MTD's system of two activator pins. What you need to do is remove the brake caliper assembly. Remove the pins to clean the area. Sometimes it just dirt other times it rust and corrosion. Since I haven't workedon one these transaxles I don't know the diameter of the pins but if they are same as Peerless ones then they a hair under 5/16 diameter and I would use a 5/16 reamer to clean those pin bores. No lube as it will only attract more dirt.
Here is an exploxed view of the brake system.
