Question:
I have a 2016 YT42DXLS with a 42" fabricated deck and the thicker rear tires with automatic locking differential.. I have been setting the mowing height at 3 inches (the second from highest setting). When I'm going straight, the mowing is excellent, i.e., quite even.. HOWEVER, when I turn, particularly tight turns, there are SCUFF MARKS FROM THE REAR TIRES THAT ARE QUITE NOTICEABLE AND IARE DESTROYING THE NEWLY SEEDED AREAS ON MY LAWN. THE TIRE TREAD IMPRESSIONS ON THE SCUFF MARKS ARE CLEARLY VISIBLE, INDICATING THAT THEY ARE FROM THE REAR TIRES.
I've checked tire inflation on both front and rear and they are fine, i.e., within specs. Do you have any suggestions as to how to eliminate or reduce the scuffling, as it is really tearing up portions of my lawn. I've noticed that the scuffing is far worse on softer areas of the lawn, but still occurs on hard, dry portions.
Thanks for your help,
Joe G
