Zero Turn Mowers

I just purchased a Husqvarna Z246. Few questions. I was told/advised to use a higher octane fuel but the manual suggests the lower? Also, my manual says there is a fuel shut off behind the seat, I can't seem to locate it unless it is on other models. And change the oil after the first 10 hours, break in time?
