My Husqvarna 322L string trimmer has line feeding issues. When I pull the trigger (without cutting any grass, just holding the trimmer in the air), the trimmer head cuts the line. When it happens, I will feel several "kicks" as the line gets chopped off on the trimmer head, then I will turn it off, and pick up about ten pieces of line out of the grass. I assume it's because the line is spooling out on its own, but I don't know for sure. This happens most often at higher speeds, but not exclusively. I'm using .095-inch Husqvarna Titanium Force String Trimmer Line. I believe I am loading line correctly, after verifying with the dealer who sold us the trimmer. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it something I can fix, or something I'm doing wrong?

I am having the same problem with a Husqvarna 232R Trimmer using a T35 head. I took the head to the local dealer. He said the head looked good and wound the spool withe new cord. It lasted about 5 minutes and spread line all over my yard. I bought a new head. I worked well for 2-3 spool of line and now is starting to do the same thing. Bought the trimmer in 1999 from a different dealer. It came with a header made by Universal. It did not have a divider in the spool and quite often the line got tangled. I never ate line as fast as the T35. After over 10 years the Bump Button wore out and I replaced it with the T35. Sorry i did.

i am having the same problem with my Husqvarna 224L. I have had it for several years and just started having this problem this week. i bought a new head and that seemed to do the trick but about 3/4 thru the first full spool, it started again. i have tried replacing each part with no success. i'd say i was winding the spool wrong but I've been doing it the same way for years. I'm stumped and looking for suggestions.
