    Question:
The instruction manual says use synthetic 2 stroke oil to mix with the fuel, and yet with the edger you sent 2 stroke oil called " smokeless formula with fuel stabilizer" that is not synthetic. Does it really make any difference which oil is used as long as it's made for 2 cycle engines?

     Hi Ray

It is not so important to use smokeless or synthetic based oils, as it is to use 89 or higher octane with a 2 cycle oil that has fuel stabilizer.

When you do go to purchase new oil we would recommend to use the premium synthetic 2 stroke oil that is JASO and ISO L-EGD certified. It will have the letters FD on the side of the bottle. Also oil with built in stabilizer will help extend the life of the fuel mix from about 3 weeks to roughly 60 days.

    Hope this helps.
