    Question:
I have a brand new Husqvarna 900 rototiller that I have used twice (less than two hours). The second time I used the machine it started forward and/or reverse motion (depending on the gear I selected) regardless of whether I had the tine control depressed to the handle of the machine or not. Previously, forward or reverse movement would only occur (as explained in the operator's manual) when the tine control handle was engaged (held to the handle). Do you have any trouble shooting ideas? This is the 2nd machine as the first one wore a hole through the guard and belt broke with less than an hour operation. I hope you can get Husqvarna and myself back on track to a satisfied customer relationship. Thanks!

I have nearly the same problem. In 2007 I bought a brand new Husqvarna rototiller. It never went into gear easily and when I'd used it 8 times took it back to the dealer for a check-up. It'd been 2 years and they said the transmission was shot and could not be repaired. I was completly out of luck. they charged me 80$ to tell me that!

      No thanks!

Has anyone with rototiller transmission issues been taken care of?
