    Question:
I bought my Husqvarna 775ex a little less than a year ago, and today I ran into some problems. When I start the mower, it starts well and then it works well for a couple minutes. It then starts to die down slower and slower until it totally shuts off. I changed the spark and air filter, but the problem persists. I also cleaned the carburetor. What is the issue?

A couple things to try that are non invasive.

Loose the fuel cap to see if there fuel tank venting problem. If problem goes away then replace the fuel cap.

Also as the engine starts dying try squirting a little fuel into the carburetor throat. If it pick up speed for short time until the extra is burned off then you still have carburetor problems or if the engine has a fuel filter it could be partially clogged.

If neither resolves the problem then a more in depth problem exists such as ignition coil that is heat sensitive, Pull the engine shroud to see if there is mouse bed under it preventing proper air flow.

Other these it might require look into by a small engine technician at your local Husqvarna servicing dealer.
