    I JUST NOTICED THAT YOU HAD A CHOKE QUESTION ASKED TO YOU ON A 125B HANDHELD.IT STATED THAT HIS BLOWER STARTED FINE ON FULL CHOKE,HE PUT IT TO HALF CHOKE ONCE WARM & WHEN HE SHUT OFF THE CHOKE,IT DIED.YOUR ANSWER WAS IT MUST BE A FUEL ADJUSTMENT.IF THE 125B & MY 130BT BACKPACK ARE 2 CYCLE ENGINES,I WAS TOLD THAT THE CHOKE NEEDED TO BE IN THE ON POSITION TO RUN CORRECTLY.AM I RIGHT IN THIS ASSUMPTION & ARE THEY BOTH 2 CYCLE..

    The choke is only to be closed for starting purposes then start opening the choke as the engine warms up over the first minute at the end of the first minute the choke must be fully open for the unit to run correctly.

    Different labels are put on the chokes, from "run to start" or "on and off" or "run and choke" and even other nomenclature depending on the model.

    The important issue, is the choke is only used for starting the engine, as the engine warms up you take (or turn) the choke off. If the engine dies with the choke in the off position that is an indication the engine is not getting enough fuel indicating again a need for fuel system service or adjustment.

      Yes, both the 125B and the 130BT blowers are 2 Stroke. Meaning you must mix 2 Stroke Air cooled engine oil with 89 octane or higher gas.

      When the engine is warm, the choke must be run in the open position. If the warm engine is run in the closed position, the engine will "flood". This means too much oil/gas mix into the engine.
