    Question:
I have a HU775L RWD walk behind mower and the drive cable has broken at the transmission end. It appears the cable pulled out of the cable end anchor. What is the best procedure/sequence for replacing the cable. Is there a method to reinforce the cable end.

Good luck. I just got off the phone with Husqvarna`s customer support and they are HORRIBLE. I have had the same problem with my mower twice and called their customer support twice with ZERO help. words of advice: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HUSQVARNA.

Matt - how did you fix the cable the first time?  I called a local service center and was informed the drive cable is backordered.  May take several weeks to get a replacement cable.  I ordered a new cable online with PartsTree.com.  Will wait and see.  Scott Wade

It was done by a local repair shop as a recall, The back order cables will be shipped out July 1st, thats what I was told yesterday and the backorder was over 5000. Anyway if its not too late take your Husqvarna back and get a different brand. Luckily for me, Lowe`s let me take mine back this morning and i got a different brand. I talked to Husqvarna`s customer support yeaterday for 30 minutes and all I`m gonna say is they are THE WORST IN THE BUSINESS BY FAR. SO I`M GONNA SPEND SOME OF MY TIME LETTING EVERYONE KNOW HOW BAD THEIR PRODUCTS ARE.
