I have just purchased a poulan ProPP4218A and decided to read online customer reviews. Many had a problem with the plastic chain adjuster so I called the no. on the box 800-554-6723 and a man told me that engineering was in the process of changing the adjuster to a metal wheel and he said he'd email me on whether mine SN13227N201758-1 had the new adjuster and I have not heard back in 8 days. Today I called the toll free no. customer service and they said they had no idea who I talked to and said the info was not available and to contact you. I would appreciate your help. Thanks
