    Question:
I have a 4 year old Husqvarna 10530 SBE, and the "Traction Idler spring became disconnected and I cannot figure out where it hooks to. It was hanging off the Idler arm but I can't for the life of me see where it attaches. (fly wheel is removed)

There seems to be a hole in the body in the upper left but when I hook it there it just pops out.

    Please Help !!!!!!!!

I think you are correct in the location of the spring just need to make sure it is positioned properly. Mine has a spring connected to the idler the spring is going through a hole in the body of the mower. It looks very similar to your picture. Have you tried a schematic?

Broke down and had a mechanic work on my snowblower he happened to have one just like it (that was junked)

found out the spring was broken and 3 out of four of the engine mount bolts sheared off and the engine was wobbling.

He went to take the bolts off the other junk snow blower and two of those bolts were stripped of the threads

I think Husky needs to take a look at this.
