    What is the difference between the Weed Eater SST25C and the XT700 model? Do you know where I could find a list of model differences? I seem to find a lot of different model numbers for the Weed Eater 17 in. 25 cc Gas String Trimmer

    Thank you for contacting Answer ARMY.

    The XT700 unit is 25cc 17" cutting swath with a bump head. The drive shaft and tube are single pieces. 

    The 2225C unit is 25cc 16" cutting swath with a bump head. This unit comes apart in the middle for storage and shipping.

    Both units are in the FeatherLite family.
