    Question:
I have the 24v48ls tractor with a locking rear differential. I've noticed when turning tight the tires rip up my lawn a bit consistently. Is there any adjustment? For that matter how does the rear diff know when to lock? I see the new ones are "pedal engaged".

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have experienced this concern.

The transmission is in a state of lock the majority of the time, think of it more like a limited slip. So tight turns can cause the tires to continue trying not to slip. There is no adjustment for this. To get around the tearing of the turf I recommend long gentle turns when possible.

I have the same problem with my new hasquvana tractor.  It is very bad and really tears up the grass.
