    Question:
I have a Husqvarna 42" snow blower (made by Agri-Fab) for my Husqvarna 54" LGT tractor. I've used it for two seasons with no problems.

My question is,the two idler pulleys in the lower bracket are not situated in an identical manner. One (L) is parallel to the frame it's mounted on, the other (R) is slightly askew due to a metal "punch out" that is angled to the frame it's punched into that the pulleys mounting bolt goes through. Also the parts manual shows different spacers for the two pulleys.

Is the angled punch correct or a factory flaw?

Since it (the angled idler pulley) is on the "downstream" side of the power delivered by the belt I was thinking it may be like that to give the belt tension there while avoiding the use of a keeper (that would be down in the slush and ice and might be problematic).

    Thoughts?
