    Why do blades fall off?
    Details:

    I have a husqvarna YTH2348 riding mower, I have a problem with blades coming off in the last two weeks(new blades) and it is a different one every time. They are on tight I had my brother check for me. They are the same blades I got before and were fine. Please let me know I need an

      Normally it because the bolts have not been torque properly. Now that the blade(s) have came off several times you need to check the spindle star mounts for damage as loose or improperly mounted blades can damage these. Once damage then the spindle shaft needs replacing. This can be while the spindle hubs are still mount on the mower deck as trying to remove them usually result in broken mounting bolts requiring complete spindle replacement.

      If the stars are in good shape then reinstall the blade(s) making they are fully seated over the star and torque the mounting bolt to 55 ft-lbs using a torque wrench. Hand tightening will not work most times.
