    Question:
I am totally dissatisfied with the GTH27V52LS tractor that I bought last fall. This is my first summer mowing with it and it is far inferior to Cadet and John Deere tractors that I have used on my property. I cannot tell whether this is a design flaw or a maintenance issue and would appreciate some advice. The problem is that the deck won't "float" at all. I have the deck at its highest setting, but whenever I cross ground that is at all uneven the deck strikes the ground, jams, and raises one or more of the main wheels into the air -- result, I'm stuck, have to turn it off, dismount, and muscle it free again. I'm too old for that! No other tractor that I've used on this property has that problem. The tractor was delivered to me badly set up by the dealer in three other ways. Is this yet another setup issue that can be corrected somehow, or is the tractor designed in such a way that the deck cannot accomodate uneven terrain? If this can't be corrected this will be my last Husqvarna product!

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this problem.

This indeed does sound like a potential setup issue, the mower deck is designed to "float". The mower should be free to move up to the deck stops and flat with in that range. Please have your local authorized service center take a look at the mower to determine if the mower has been leveled and adjusted correctly.

I think you have a bad set up. take it back to the dealer and have this made right I'm getting one tomorrow and this thing has been sitting outside for a very long time .even the Briggs sticker on the engine is coming loose. I'm going to get a deal or they will have to sell them next year
