Leaf Blowers

I recently purchased a 150BT backpack blower and it is awesome, using it on day two after my purchase and it stared running poorly, loosing power, like running out of fuel. I shut it off and check my fuel, level was fine, I checked air filter and actually cleaned it, pulled spark plug to inspect and it was not fouled and actually looked great. I tried to start and it would not. I primed,choked and tried starting, about 30 pulls, no start. I let it sit and went on using my Husqvarna mower for other duties and about 1/2 hour later tried again,it started and seem to run fine. I also notice like a clicking noise in the engine area while using. What caused this problem and what could the clicking noise be. It sounds like fan area and not engine
