    Question:
    Have a YTA22V46, purchased 4/5/17, broken cable clutch/spring (25.07 on line web page) told by rep on phone not covered even hardly month old, 2nd cutting? Cannot understand this, at least send the part, I will get it put on somewhere!

      I would be talking with their manager. Springs just don't break like this in a month unless defective in the first place and I have replaced a lot of this style cable in the last 8 years I have servicing the MTD and Husqvarna mowers using this spring.

      Don't take me wrong here I have seen them broken but most were nearly worn in two before they broke. Even deck where the idler assembly was completely rusted in place they just stretch out shape.

      Personally if it was a mower I had sold and it was less a month old I replace it even Husqvarna didn't refund my costs. Just good customer relations. Of course I would raising sand with the warranty department too. Just glad I don't deal with most manufactures directly anymore. The ones I did years ago the reps knew I would go over their heads if needed.
