It is upsetting that you have experienced these issues.
The first concern you state the unit tries to tip on you this would indicate the mower is being used incorrectly and exceeding a 15° grade. There should be a guide in the back of the manual that gives an indication to the amount of grade the mower is allowed on. This amount of grade is an INDUSTRY standard. The tires spinning also indicates the area is to steep or maybe wet. The mower should only be used when the area is dry. As far as the chute clogging this also indicates wet grass or cutting to much grass at one time. For healthy grass and for optimum performance of the mower you should not cut more than 1.5" of grass off when mowing. If your grass gets to tall you may have to mow it at the highest setting then mow again later or the next day at the normal setting.
If your lawn exceeds a 15° slope the mower must not be used.
I hope this helps to answer your concerns.
