     Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

    Unfortunately we do not know what those intentions are, the history of the 357 and 359 date back just about 11 years since production started.

    The 357 and 359 have been great chainsaws, but can not say how much longer they will be produced, we likely will not know till they stop shipping.

    However I do feel if they are discontinued that we will replace with a saw in that family of displacement as those have been very popular saws.
