    Question:
I just acquired a CZ3815 and have a question about the transmissions. It may be normal but they seem quite loud. The best analogy is they sounds like a power steering pump on a car when it's low on fluid. I see the tubes that come up from them that look like vents. Is this what they are? I don't, however, see a way to check/change the fluids.

Is the sounds normal and should I worry about checking/changing transmission fluid? It has almost 300 hours on it and the previous owner has done nothing to the transmissions.

    Thanks.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

I hope you have many good years of service with the machine you have acquired.

It is hard to know if your transmissions are normal or not, not being able to hear them. All Hydro transmission do have some whine or growl to them. The hoses you mention are indeed ventilation and expansion tubes for the transmissions.

You would need to contact HydroGear (the transmission mfg.) for any service information on the transmissions.
